Nadeje Milli Crepe Cake
Famous and delicious original milli crepe cake from Nadeje Cafe in Melacca that literally melts in your mouth. Nadeje serves more than 18 different flavours of milli crepe cake, for example the original flavour, mocha, tiramisu and so on.
Kuih Stall
Melacca is also famous for their traditional and authentic nyonya kuihs. This is a typical roadside stall that sells various kind of kuihs that come in different shape, size, colour, texture and taste
Satay Celup
We tried the famous local delicacies in Melacca- Satay Celup. The price for each Satay was reasonable. Special Satay Sauce was marinated and mixed for the customers to taste.

Baba Nyonya Museum
One of the must-visit place in Malacca is The Baba and Nyonya Heritage Museum which is located at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. We were not allowed too take pictures in the museum therefore this picture is taken outside of the museum. This museum was once the house of Baba Chan family who was a well known family.The museum exhibits the way of living of the Peranakan, the traditional costumes, furniture, architecture style and so on.
Traditional Wooden Barrel
This is a chinese traditional wooden barrel made by an old man who has been running the wooden barrel business for more than 50 years. He is now the only wooden barrel maker in Malacca.
Temple Street
It is a street with different types of religious buildings were built. Islamic mosque, Hindu kuil, and Taoism Temple were built in the same street with mixture of different culture. Each religion plays an important role in our culture of Malaysia.
Antique Shop in Jonker Street
Being the historical town of Malaysia, Melacca has its unique story about the past. Each delicate stories was recorded in different methods. It is a paradise for the antique collectors as you can find much memories from these unique stuffs.
Baboon House Cafe
A special cafe operated by a young woman from USA. The cafe is delicate and it is a place for the artists to display their artwork for free. It encourages the positive energy among the artist and creates a calm, peaceful environment for the customers.
Backstreet of Indian Street
This is a huge soup kettle made of stainless steel used for cooking soup and sauce at the back of a restaurant or home. They uses traditional cooking method like burning woods and coals to make fire and using big sticks to mix the ingredients.
Art Work display
It shows a series of artwork produced by creative artist in the Baboon Cafe. Visitors can choose to purchase their favorite artwork from the artists. The cafe is also a workplace for the artist to draw and be creative. Sense of creativity is found in everywhere in the cafe.

Christ Church Melaka
Christ Church is the oldest functioning Protestant church in Malaysia. The construction began in 1741 and was completed in 1753. Christ Church bears all the hallmarks of 18th-century Dutch architecture: a rectangular plan, massive walls, red granite plinths, and Dutch roof tiles.
Pillar of Corner Shop Lot
Walking down the Jonker street, we can see a lot of shops have this kind of pillar with their shops' name craved on it. This special way of showing shops' name were popular once in the 60' till the late 80'.
Traditional Facade of Shop Lot
Traditional shop lots with significant door signage on top of the building. The door signage was hand made and carved in detailed. It represents the culture of Chinese family. Although the Chinese were migrated to a brand new place in the past, they never forget to maintain their culture until now.
Mansion of Xu Family
The mansion showed a great influence of Western architecture in the 60's. The locals were greatly influence by the culture of Western as it was the monopolization era of the Europe countries like British, Holland and Portugal. They still adapted the signage on the front door with Chinese wordings.

The shops were arranged closely to each other. It is a double-storey shop lots which the lower level was used as shop whereas the upper level was for residential purpose.
River Side of Melacca River
The houses were built along the river. A river side walkway was built for tourism purpose. Tourists enjoy their drinks and food along the river. It is a historical landmark of Melacca. The tradings started in this river and that was the starting point of Melacca's development.
Traditional Window
The traditional wooden window was built in the 60s. It has an open space in the center of building to provide ventilation and sufficient source of daylight.
Backstreet View of Shop Lots
Backstreet of the shops and old buildings at Jonker street. The buildings are historical as we can tell from the facade which had some damage on it. Wood is also one of the popular material used in these old buildings. For example, people use wood to build the shelter.

typical road off the Jonker street where old cafes and shop-houses fill the vicinity, Some shop-houses are usually closed during the day because they are too old to run anymore or the shop are being closed down as new shops are being build in town.
Half Indoor Landscape
Lush green was found in the interior of the shop lots in Melacca. The natural lighting penetrating from the roof top creates a great environment for the plants to grow. It also creates a healthy environment for the residents.
Facade of Old Shop
The facade adapted the detailed carvings of European style and traditional Chinese signage carving on the top of the the front door. It was painted in blue and white and gave an impression of vividness and clean.
Melacca River
Famous tourism spot in Jonker Street. Boat rides are available at the Melacca Riverside. The bridge connects the Christ Church of Melacca and Jonker Street.
